About Us

Launched in August 2021, the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival (MMFF) presents your stories on stage, in South Asian/Pan Asian languages that are meaningful to you.

The Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival is the first multilingual fringe festival in Canada and the US.
The MMFF is an uncensored, non-juriedĀ theatreĀ festival, bringing together emerging and established artists alike to tell their stories on stage. The participants to the MMFF are drawn through a lottery process. The MMFF provides a safe space and incorporates inclusivity, diversity and multiculturalism, into all aspects of the festival.
The MMFF is a part of the North American fringe family and a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF) and is Inspired by the great fringe festival of Edinburgh, and the Toronto Fringe Festival closer to home.
